Different time format

#1 by dm.bogachev , Thu May 16, 2024 2:54 pm

Hello!
I found some UX bug in Error log window.
When opening an error log you can see small operation log on the right side and time format is different (one is 12-hours format and the other is 24-hours.

It will be also cool if there will be a setting which time format should program use!

Thank you!

Thank you for your comment!

The time format in the error log list is depends on the language settings of K-IDE while the format in the small operation log list is taken as is out of the controller. As you see in the error log window, the time of each single error log entry is used to filter the error log list while there is no need to filter the small operation log window.

To be honest I didn't thought very much about formating that datetime too. It's an operation log with the correct order of a maximum of ten entries and you are able to imagine the time spawn between any of that operation and the error entry itself. IMHO it's acceptable to keep this simple solution as it is. But that's my opinion as a user of the German language version. In Germany the 24 hour time format is usually used.
