Font crash..

#1 by saberlars , Fri Jun 07, 2024 12:10 am

I recently discovered KIDE and tried using it. However, the Hangul fonts are not displaying correctly.
Other editors (Notepad++ or Notepad) I've used previously display fonts correctly.

my *.as file download by KRTerminal app (save monitor command)

KIDE : 1.1.3.0 (64Bit, 1/3/2023) Version
KIDE Font : (Scheme - Almost Gruv) Consolas

OS : Win10 Pro + English
OS System Locale : Control Panel - Region - Administrative - Language for non-Unicode programs - Change system locale -> Korean (Korea, Without Beta UTF-8 check)

The editor of K-IDE (Fast Colored Text Box) does not support automatic character set recognition (AFAIK). As a result, the character set is taken from the selected language of K-IDE. In case of English language of K-IDE, the "ImeMode" is set to "NoControl" (standard).

      string culture = ConfigManager.Instance.Language;

if (culture == "ja")
TextBox.ImeMode = SlaveTextBox.ImeMode = ImeMode.Katakana;
else if (culture == "zh")
TextBox.ImeMode = SlaveTextBox.ImeMode = ImeMode.On;
else
TextBox.ImeMode = SlaveTextBox.ImeMode = ImeMode.NoControl; <------

I'm open to any suggestions for extending the functionality in terms of DBC character sets. If you have any idea, please let me know!
