I propose some ideas:
1. It often happens to me when I do remote assist, that I have to connect to a robot to download the online version and I always have to: connect, it backs up, and then download the data again to see the project and work on it. You could request upon connecting on a robot, if and it is backed up dasi and there are no files open, request whether to open the backup file in read only, without having to re-download the contents of the robot.
2. When I am connected via WiFi or when there are project files that kide can't read, there is a timeout at startup of about 60s if it can be reduced;
3. window to set/read dedicated signals;

When I have to create documentation for the robot they require me to explain the pages of the IFP and I have to take screenshots of each page and go through Word to explain each button what it does. Can you automate this, like Siemens' TIA Portal does that creates a screen and assigns a little number to each box used and then going through Word create enter the description of what the button does?

2. I don't understand that! Can you please explain in detail?
3. I understand that documentation is a very important task, but I don't think I will ever include MS Word handling into K-IDE. That will lead to too much dependencies on libraries and components.
