the shortcut to create a real variable (Alt+Shift+R) doesn't work in this version, do you find that too?

i tried the the latest beta (.1 and .3) still has the same problem

In my K-IDE it works. Are you sure you are using Shift-Alt-R and not Ctrl-Alt-R? Are you sure you'r trying to define an undefinded variable?

I also tried on a new project and the shortcut alt+shift+R doesn't work but the ..+T works. If I press right click the add as real work

update:
I tried on a new installation of 1.1.15 in VM and the shortcut works, what could it be?

Maybe another program or your operating system grabs the hotkey?

i was able to find what was causing the problem: in the NVIDIA App when overlay is enabled the combination ALT+R and ALT+Shift+R is use for on-screen statistics.
