Native Git Support

#1 by jacksonbrock , Mon Jan 27, 2025 9:15 pm

I've started using git for version control of AS programs.

Although it is relatively trivial to manage push and pulls externally using the command line or a gui client such as git tortoise it would be cool to have built in support directly into kide manage the repo similar to how visual studio does.

Let me know what you think.

Thank you for your suggestion!

You are right, that would be a nice function. We are using git for our AS files too.

Building git support into the K-IDE is a mass of work if you want to have all the advantages of the revision control system. Beside the simple push and pull commands you may want to see what changes you made in which programs, ... I don't think I can get it into the actual K-IDE GUI.
