This update basically brings a new feature called "Signal Manager". This manager shoud help dealing with signals from local and fieldbus devices. It should give a quick and easy overview of what signals are used and what signals are free. It should also give an overview of the different signal ranges like "local", "fieldbus 1 (master)", "fieldbus 2 (slave)", "arm id", ... In a detail dialog it is possible to view some more signal information like a byte and word alignment and the resulting estimated location of the signal on a device of the fieldbus. You'll find the new function in the "AS Toolbox" menu.
Please keep in mind that the signal manager is not finished and in alpha stage! Use it at your own risk!
