the numerical value of JT7

#1 by Guccio ( Guest ) , Fri Oct 17, 2025 9:06 am

Hello,
I'm having trouble constantly entering the numerical value of JT7.
The value is always -210. Am I doing something wrong, or is something wrong with Windows? A video with a screenshot is attached.

Hi,

thank you for your report!

You changed the 'calc' value of JT7. This value means nothing if you don't press the 'calc' button.

The calc values are used to calculate multiple positions with offsets for the different position components. If you press the calc button (and only if you press the calc button), the calculation will be done and the values are stored for next time use. If you don't press the calc button, you can simply ignore the calc values.

If you want to get rid of that values, set all values to zero and press the calc button.

BTW: the entered values are stored in 'CalcPnt.xml' in the KIDE program directory.
