Hi,

thank you for your report!

The “.IDE_CMT” function is defective in new firmware versions, so it is temporarily disabled in the K-IDE. K-IDE has fallen back to the "old" comment structure where all comments are stored in a special program. I just tried to reproduce the issue by "wedding" a project to a fresh K-Roset robot. That works as expected.

Imagine, you touched the robot before with an older version of K-IDE that writes the ".IDE_CMT" section as you describe. Then, after wedding with the new K-IDE, there must be two versions of comments in your robot: the .IDE_CMT and the program version. When loading the comments from the robot, one of that version are loaded first and prevent the other comment version to be loaded. In your case the older .IDE_CMT won.

Can you please check if I'm right? If so, there must be a program named "Comments___" in your robot.

After inspecting the relevant code again, I realized that .IDE_CMT data got highest priority at loading time. So if there is a .IDE_CMT section, K-IDE always loads that section for IDE comments and ignores the ".PROGRAM Comment___" comments. That is no longer correct as the .IDE_CMT section is no longer written. It will be kept untouched.

In current version 1.1.5.20 K-IDE always writes "Comment___" comments to the robot, but when it comes to download data from the robot, K-IDE reads the .IDE_CMT section as comment data. That is a bug.

For compatibility reasons K-IDE must keep loading .IDE_CMT sections if they exists. But K-IDE must ignore that data if there's even a "Comment___" program, that (may) have more recent comment data.

I'm now thinking about a way to kill the .IDE_CMT if there's a "Comment___" version available. That will clean the AS data of the controller and save (a litte bit) load time.
