If you have found a possible security vulnerability in the K-IDE, please write to tech-support@kawasakirobotics.de. Starting the subject line with "Security K-IDE" gets your message to the right people quickly.

Please do not describe your finding publicly in the forum. A post here can be read by anyone — including someone who would exploit the vulnerability before we have been able to close it. You are of course welcome to post that you have written to us.

What helps us assess it:

• the K-IDE version (Help → About) and your Windows version
• what you observed and how it can be reproduced
• what someone could achieve with it, as far as you can judge
• screenshots or log excerpts

Please do not include customer data or robot programs unless we explicitly ask for them.

What you can expect from us:

• acknowledgement of receipt within two working days. We review on working days; nobody is watching at weekends or on public holidays.
• within ten working days, an assessment of whether and how we will respond
• status updates until the case is closed
• We pass your report on internally only to those who need it for the assessment.

We ask you to publish your finding only after we have been able to provide a remedy; we are glad to agree the timing with you. If you would like to be credited by name, please say so.
