Hi,
A lot of signals (inputs, outputs, internals) was move to boolean signal and I had to couple times moved manually them because after regeneration of the project they back to boolean area
For ex. Slid1OdbOK is now on boolen area and have value 1034 .
The orginal project was prepared on 0.9.6.5 version

I cannot reproduce that behaviour. To test I opened a very old project and all signals are assigned well. I did a generation / regeneration process and all signals stayed as they are. After that test I generated a new project file (from template) and added a signal. Then I did a generation / regeneration and the signal also stayed as it was.

We now need to find out what's the difference between your AS file and mine.

Is it possible to send me your AS file for checking and tracing? Please send it via a link in a private message.

Hello @darek.niemiec ,

thank you for the AS file. I checked the file and there are SIGNALS defined as BOOL, so it is okay that K-IDE list that variables as bool variables even if they have valid signal numbers as values.

I did the following to your project file:

  • Removed the BOOL definition for all variables identified as signals
  • Opened the REALS list and selected all the variables previously removed from boolean list
  • Defined the selected variables to be signals
  • Saved the file
  • Reopened the file

Everything works as it should. The signals are now in the right list and did not jump back to boolean.

You mentioned you did a "Regeneration". Why did you do a regeneration? When starting a regeneration, all data in the project is overwrited using the data in the original AS file. If you change the data using the variable list of K-IDE and then do a regeneration without saving the file, you will loose all changes! Please take a look at the manual for keyword "generation" / "regeneration". In short: "regeneration" is a functionality for very rare use cases. In normal programming cases you should never use "regenerate".

Hello there!

I have a problem with "Execute program" window!
My Display resolution is 1920x1080

Can I fix it somehow?

You are right, the controls in that dialog didn't have the right places and sizes. I'll fix it soon. As a workaround just press <RETURN> in this dialog window.
