import CSV signal list

#1 by TRapp , Wed Jun 28, 2023 3:55 am

I exported the current signal input list to CSV - then I edited the whole list.

when I import the CSV again, nothing happens.
There are no changes in the input list and no any error messages.

Shouldn't it overwrite entries?

I have already tried to delete the whole signal list from K-IDE signal before import.
But still doesn't work - the signal list stays empty without any message.

Any suggestions ?

Thank you for your description!

It's hard to find the reason without the CSV file at hand. Maybe there are some error messages missing while importing the CSV file. Can you please share the CSV file to me?

This was just a small test with a few input signals
1. exported the list to CSV
2. edited the comments
3. imported the CSV

Thank you! Please use a semicolon ";" as the field delimiter instead of a comma!

Thanks - I will change the settings in Excel
